Achieving Organizational Health and Balance, Foundations 2 of the Genuine Contact Program. Selfstudy + 2 online sessions, April 12 and 26, 2018, 3-7 pm CET
Health and balance are essential conditions for organizational transformation and growth. When you choose to create a life nurturing climate, this has a big impact on how people perform and collaborate in your organization. When the climate is encouraging and energizing the organization will perform at its best.
When an organization starts a process of transformation, you may wish to know where to start and you may want to have a baseline from which you can measure progress. This workshop provides you with both, which is important knowledge when planning to re-model or re-organize an organization. The diagnosis is the starting point and with it comes a map for the regeneration of organizational health and balance, using the same multi-functional tools that are used in the diagnosis.
In this workshop you will
- Learn a holistic way to do a diagnosis of the present state of an organization
- Discover what is already in place, what needs to be removed, replaced or cleansed
- Learn to engage people in the diagnosis process and invite their wisdom to provide ideas for the future
- Learn a set of simple, multipurpose tools to be used for a diagnosis, period checks and adjustments to sustain the desired state of the organization
- Discover a way to achieve a life nurturing climate that supports organizational growth
- Create your own plan for doing the diagnosis in your organization, during or after the workshop
This is a self-study workshop with two live sessions where we work to find answers to your questions and to support you to feel comfortable in using the tools. We also provide feedback through e-mails in the two weeks between the sessions. The first session is the Path to Organizational Health and Balance, which is a pre-requisite. The second session is after 2 weeks for self-studies, supported by video, workbook and a booklet with questions and exercises.
The online sessions are held 3 pm-7 pm CET using the software Blackboard Collaborate or similar, with breakout rooms and whiteboards, audio and options for video. They are facilitated using Whole Person Process Facilitation, offering you the opportunity to learn in your own best way and to engage deeply in what matters together with other participants.
The workshop fee SEK 7.000 ex VAT includes workbook and materials for selfstudy, e-mail support and 2 sessions, of which one is the workshop Foundations 1, Path to Organizational Health and Balance.

Eiwor Backelund Jacobsson intention is to provide leaders with a hands-on experience of a new leadership paradigm, so they can change the way organizations work to a more healthy and balanced approach utilizing the full wisdom of the people working with it. In her consulting work she draws on her many years of experience being a leader of economic and non-profit associations and European Union funded projects. Being one of the first authorized trainers of the Genuine Contact ™ Program, she has taught the program components to hundreds of people in Sweden and internationally. Eiwor knows that nature has a balancing effect, which helps people feel good and be more creative, more productive and learn easier.
Anders Johansson is a skilled and experienced outdoor educator, who have trained many hundred school teachers, leaders and facilitators as a teacher at Linköping University and through his own business Friluften. When he describes himself as a leader/educator the metaphor catalyst is used. In practice this means that the knowledge, energy and creativity within the group is used for development of the individuals and the group. His keyword for success is “trust the process”. Anders is one of the developers and owners of the Skogsfloating concept, an outdoor meeting space for creative, inspiring and effective collaboration and an authorized trainer of the Genuine Contact Program.
