Achieving Organizational Health and Balance, Foundational module 1 and 2 of the Genuine Contact Program

Health and balance is necessary for organizations to develop and grow. When chosing to create a life nurturing climate, this has a big impact on people´s performance and collaboration. When the climate is encouraging and energizing the organization will perform at its best.

When an organization enters into a transformation process, it could be good to know where to start and to have a baseline for measuring achievements. This workshop will provide you with both, which is important knowledge when planning to redesign or reorganize the organization. The starting point is a diagnosis and with it comes a map for regeneration of health and balance. Here you will use the same multifunctional tools that were used in the diagnosis.

In this workshop you will

  • Learn a holistic way to do a diagnosis of the present state of the organization
  • Discover what is already in place and what needs to be removed, replaced or cleansed
  • Learn to engage people in the diagnosis process and invite them to contribute ideas for the future
  • Learn a set of simple, multifunctional tools used for the diagnosis, for periodical checkpoints and for adjustments to maintain the desired state of the organization
  • Discover a way to achieve a life nurturing climate that supports organizational growth
  • Create your own plan for doing the diagnosis in your organization, during or after the workshop

The online workshop has 3 meetings for questions and discussion, where we support you to become familiar with the tools. Between the online meetings time is needed for homework and selfstudies. During this time we will be available for discussion through email. We use Qiqochat for the online meetings, which includes video, microphone, breakout rooms and whiteboards. We will use Whole Person Process Facilitation to facilitate the meetings, since this process provides the opportunity to learn in your own best way and to dive deep into the topics together with other participants.

The workshop fee is SEK 6.800 ex VAT, including workbook, workshop materials and workshop leadership. If more than 2 people register from the same organization, participant number 2 will get a 25 % reduction and participant number 3 a 50% reduction of their fees.

Eiwor Backelund Jacobsson intention is to provide leaders with a hands-on experience of a new leadership paradigm, so they can change the way organizations work to a more healthy and balanced approach utilizing the full wisdom of the people working with it. In her consulting work she draws on her many years of experience being a leader of economic and non-profit associations and European Union funded projects. Being one of the first authorized trainers of the Genuine Contact ™ Program, she has taught the program components to hundreds of people in Sweden and internationally. Eiwor knows that nature has a balancing effect, which helps people feel good and be more creative, more productive and learn easier.

Anders Johansson is a skilled and experienced outdoor educator, who have trained many hundred school teachers, leaders and facilitators as a teacher at Linköping University and through his own business Friluften. When he describes himself as a leader/educator the metaphor catalyst is used. In practice this means that the knowledge, energy and creativity within the group is used for development of the individuals and the group. His keyword for success is “trust the process”. Anders is one of the developers and owners of the Skogsfloating concept, an outdoor meeting space for creative, inspiring and effective collaboration and an authorized trainer of the Genuine Contact Program.

Hege Steinsland is a process facilitator och authorized Genuine Contact Trainer who has many years of experience as a leader and of working with change, team development, conflict resolution and coaching. During many years she has supported leaders in the administration in municipalities and churches with tools for leadership development and for finding a new organization model. Her calm and reflective approach and her background from relationship and Gestalt coaching will support your search for the right relationship to your own leadership.
